We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Accounting Manager who is eager to join our teamThis is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to spearhead and manage all accounting operationsThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record in accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and month-end close processesThis role involves working closely with the upper management to create forecasting models, oversee financial reporting, and drive the company's financial planning.
Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to:
accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.2Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.3Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.4Coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting.5Researching technical accounting issues for compliance.6Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.7Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.8Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.9Working closely with the management team to share reports and analysis findings.10Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager role will have the following
Qualifications:
1Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.2CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.3A minimum of 3
years of experience in accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and month-end close processes.4Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.5Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases.6Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.7Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.8High attention to detail and accuracy.9Ability to direct and supervise.10Excellent communication and leadership skills.11Strong analytical skills and experience creating financial reports and forecasts.12Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.13Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.14An affinity for team success, and a positive, flexible attitude.If you are passionate about accounting, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are ready to take your career to the next level, apply today to join our team as an Accounting Manager.Interested in hearing more?
