Process Optimization Engineer

We are looking for a Process Optimization Engineer to join our team.
The Process Optimization Engineer will be responsible for driving operational excellence through continuous improvement activities.
This position requires collaboration with operations, engineering, and quality personnel to develop processes and technologies that maximize process optimization and performance.

com/ /> Responsibilities Analyzing production data, process trends, and customer feedback to identify areas of operational improvement and continuous improvement.
Overseeing the design, implementation, and validation of process equipment and systems.
Evaluating existing and planned production processes to refine yield potential and reduce cycle times.
Creating engineering documentation and work instructions for production processes and SOP Collaborating with cross-functional teams to advise on proposed process changes and ensure proper implementation.
Supporting, troubleshooting, improving, and maintaining high-speed production and packaging machinery; while Prioritizing and self-scheduling maintenance work around production activities.
Knowledge of drive installation, maintenance, and parameterization (Siemens MM4, Allen Bradley, etc).
PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and propose and implement remedies.
Possess a proven track record of achievement in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environment.
Developing engineering projects to reduce project costs, improve product quality, and address safety concerns.
Liaising between Production and Maintenance to schedule required maintenance based on accepted priorities.
Planning, scheduling, and managing scheduled plant downtime events.
Coordinating the use of outside contractors for the department.
Leading maintenance improvement projects including breakdown analysis and root cause analysis.
Applying manufacturing systems' best practices to drive down costs, improve quality and enhance our ability to cost-effectively deliver.
Ensuring that systems are being fully utilized and adding value to the department and the teams.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in engineering or related field 5
years of related experience in Process Optimization Knowledge and experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), stand-alone dedicated Human Machine Interfaces, (HMIs), advanced process control, instrumentation, and systems Proven track record of achievement in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environment Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and propose and implement remedies Experience with can-making/high-speed equipment processes preferred Ability to work with operators, engineers, and management from all levels of the organization Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of can-making/high-speed equipment processes preferred.
Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Experienced with KHS, Krones, BWIS, KuKA, Allen Bradley, Rockwell, and Balanced Line Flow systems and equipment.

Manage systems-related documentation, process optimization for high-speed canning lines, and optimize manufacturing processes through the use of systems (Balanced line flow, nesting, line optimization) Functional/operational support to packaging teams, system configuration, and Update/modification to improve the current line process.
Programming Logic Controllers (PLCs), stand-alone dedicated Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), servomotor, robotic, floor I/O, device network, instrumentation Physical Requirements:
